- Numerical study of erosion of a confined stratified layer by a vertical jet in turbulent flow
[This research work has been supported by Ministry of Economy,Trade and Industry]
Analytical condition : Re=2.1E+4, Fr=28.5, Pr=0.717, Ri=1.08E-3, Sc=0.21(helium), Sc=0.61(water vaper)
Upper figures are experimental apparatus and predicted velocity, helium, temperature, turbulent energy for time history btween 0 sec and 41 sec, respectively.
Lower figures are initial helium concentration and predicted velocity, helium, temperature, turbulent energy for time history btween 328 sec and 369 sec, respectively.
Solid lines in figures are injected helium concentration of 0.134.
